AS A WATERCOLOR PAINTER, I see unlimited color and subject matter out there waiting to be painted!
I learned well the art of using the “loose and juicy” medium of watercolor while a student in the Cincinnati public schools, and have loved it ever since. Today my palette is filled with bright, sunlit colors that flow from my brush as I capture a special place, a moment in time; even a mischievous cat or two. Whatever catches my eye or imagination.
I studied painting at the Cincinnati Art Academy, then went on to earn a B.S. in Design at the University of Cincinnati. For the past twenty-five years I have enjoyed success exhibiting and marketing my paintings, winning numerous awards and placement in private and corporate permanent collections in the U.S. and abroad.
It has also been a special privilege for me to share my vision and enthusiasm for painting through teaching workshops both locally and when I travel or exhibit.
Every painting is a pure and happy experience for me, and when that painting finds someone who feels that same happiness, the painting is complete. I'm always looking for that complete painting!
I exhibit throughout Georgia and Alabama, selling my work, including signed copies of the award-winning book The Elf on the Shelf which I illustrated.
